One of the foundations of our practice is looking at our minds through the lens of the Bodhisattva Precepts and this evening we will have an open discussion about the Precepts and other aspects of practice.

Day long retreat. The Most Excellent Mirror Samadhi

During this retreat we will explore a little of the use and meaning of the Most Excellent Mirror Samadhi, a poem written by the Chinese master Tozan Ryokai which is recited regularly in Soto Zen temples worldwide.

Lunch will be a silent, informal, bring-your-own-vegetarian food affair. We will eat in the meditation hall.
