Genjo-Koan
Here are three talks given by R. Leon, at the Priory, on Dogen’s Genjo Koan or, “The Problem of Everyday Life”, a chapter from the Shobogenzo. The first talk has some thoughts about reading Dogen, translation and spiritual reading in general.
Gyakudo-yojinshu
Some talks by Rev. Leon exploring the text Gyakudo-yojinshu By Dogen. This is a work by Dogen examining aspects of meditation practice and giving helpful advice supporting our practice of the Dharma in daily life. A translation of the text version of the Gyakudo-yojinshu is available in “Zen is Eternal Life” by RM Jiyu-Kennett here.
